The food was great. Had the Special Fajitas and the Fiesta fries. Very very good compared to the many other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Too bad I live so far away. Service was great and the staff member was polite. Would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

Too start, I'm from the southwest. So my review is on the edge of I know Mexican food and easy you're in the middle of Maine don't have high expectations. The Mexican food I got here was not what I was expecting. I did give it a try and a chance. It was good if you never had authentic Mexican food and you're trying to get extra vegetables into your meal. I ordered the chimichanga meal. The meat for the chicken was cooked perfectly but the onions and bell peppers threw it off for me. The beef meat was cooked perfectly, the seasoning on the beef was sweet and it was out of place in the meal and this also had onions and bell peppers in it. The rice felt more like fried rice you would find at a Chinese restaurant (I say this because it had mixed veggies in it) but the spices were in the realm of Mexico ???????? and it had a little tiny baby spice to it. You can't miss up lettuce, tomatoes, or beans - that was okay . I did question the cheese that was used on top, it felt like it was slices of white American cheese out of a plastic packet - never had that on a chimichanga before but there is a first time for everything. I forgot to ask for no sour cream, that was my fault. But there was a huge scoop of this just splat right in the middle and it melted a bit and it covered everything so it kinda became a soupy mess of sour cream. That was my fault for asking they remove it or put it on the side. My partner kept apologizing to me for bringing me here. But my only response was "I needed to know what I was leaving behind when I officially move here." Now I know. Our waiter did laugh at my response when he asked if we wanted a to go plate. Great learning experience. Who knows maybe I'll give it another try and just order some chicken tacos or something

Very casual Mexican spot. All the staff was friendly and service was good. Portions are large, good value. Food was good. It was exactly what i expected it to be.

The restaurant has a large selection of dishes and drinks. The nachos were too soggy. The tacos were great along with the rice and beans. The margaritas flight was delicious. There are various specials throughout the week that merit a return trip to that advantage of.

I was excited to find this restaurant which is part of a chain that is my favorite place to eat, but I was fairly disappointed in my enchilada suprema. Perhaps it was an off night, but there wasn’t much cheese in the cheese enchiladas and the beans weren’t very flavorful. The service was very friendly, but we were only checked on once and I wasn’t able to get a second drink. I probably didn’t need another Monday margarita anyhow I probably won’t be going back to this Bangor location, but my daughter really enjoyed her steak so perhaps my local restaurant is just exceptional and this spot is the normal fare.

First time ever they didn't get my order right . Been eating here for years. The mistake was immediately taken care of with a smile. Always great food and fast friendly service. Best quick stop on the trip going north or south! ( no Pic, I demolished it!) Back again and it was phenomenal!

This is my 3rd time here, and I'm not a local! I love this spot! It's authentic, delicious, lively (but not too loud). The staff is friendly and prompt. This time I had the taco birria and it was fabulous! I also had a raspberry margarita and ordered the cheese dip on the side for my chips. Finished with the flan, omg amazing!
